You care more about your sports team than your own salvation. You know every stat, every player, every storyline. Yet neglect what matters most. Then you wonder why you feel empty. At least give your soul a fraction of the attention you give the stats.
Create content already works from your POV. I can’t count how many times I’ve watched the same type of content from people I respect. Just to see if our ideas aligned. Sometimes it gave me clarity. Sometimes it validated the direction I was already heading in.
We take for granted the things we’ve built in our lives because they can’t be put on a résumé.
Give yourself credit for the strength, discipline, wisdom, and character no paper can measure.
You’re not bad at focusing.
You’re just really good at letting your attention be stolen.
Every “quick check” is training your mind to stop thinking deeply.
“Who is actually directing my life right now?
You don’t need certainty to chase big, scary goals.
You need certainty in your actions.
Stop asking: “Will this work?”
Start asking: “Will I show up anyway?”
Confidence isn’t knowing the outcome.
It’s proving you’ll act without knowing.
You want to feel special, so you buy tickets to a celebrity concert.
You scream your heart out, singing every word you know.
While your loved ones are home, without the praise you so freely give to others.
You’d rather feel special than be happy with those around you.
Don’t take your skill or experience for granted.
What feels normal to you could guide someone else through their journey.
Don’t grow bitter with age.
Don’t get so lost in study and research that you forget how to relate to the people who actually care about your work.
At the beginning of everything, there was darkness.
And then light came through the Word.
Sometimes your life feels dark because you haven’t allowed the Word to speak yet.
You keep filling the silence with distractions.
Sit alone and let God speak to you.
Blessed and worthy is the Lamb of God,
who gave His life so that we can be free.
He is the giver of gifts beyond measure,
and worthy of a renewed surrender each day.
For when the heart lifts itself in praise,
the mind cannot remain trapped in sorrow or endless thought.
Be careful of those who offer poison wrapped in kind words.
What’s the result?
The danger is convincing yourself the small compromise is harmless.
Hold the line.
Why did I choose to turn my suffering into art?
I made it beautiful. I made it part of me.
I told myself it was serving my heart, but it slowly began to choke the parts of my life I cared about most.
Some people can’t carry the weight of your emotions or perspective.
They may try to silence or block you.
Don’t let that define your art.
If you’re able, put it into the world anyway.
I’ve seen and heard things words can’t offend.
If you have the time to overanalyze and nitpick, chances are you’re on the sidelines just blowing smoke.
Your capacity to dive into darkness shows how expansive your heart truly is.
I trust the one who brings pain and overthinking more than the one who claims to have it all figured out.
The more broken you are, the greater the opportunity for growth.
Want him to feel like he’s taking a bullet for his very existence?
Tell him to be a better Man.
We fall short trying to meet expectations only God can fulfill.
