Reading Kagurabachi since chapter 1, it’s really truly unbelievable to watch it turn from a full-on meme to a legitimately great series.
I wasn’t a believer until chapter ~5-6, but as soon as that cloud gouger arc hit, I was a full-on Bachi Bro believer. Fire.
Idk why some are worried about incoming anime-onlies larping Chihiro as a total dark brooding edgelord
This gets disproven as early by Ch THREE
That's like Episode 2
Everyone will learn REAL QUICK how Chihiro is a fake ass idgafer
And others say "Excuse me no pickles" for him
Y'know, if this was how Chihiro was fighting Kuguri at the start then I can't even hate on him too much.
Imagine your passion being sword fighting & the supposed son of the greatest blacksmith oat is using a sword in the same manner as a club
One of the funniest sagas on here was the Morbius-level ironic hype around the manga when it was first coming out only for it to turn genuine because it was actually good apparently
I wonder just how many people will sign up to Kagurabachi expecting bombastic action and edgy main character: only to be met with one of the most somber, melancholic & heart-crushing love-stories a son can have for their father.
Do they know what they're signing up for?
