In a recent Family Court ruling, the Court considered an application for financial remedies following the divorce of the parties.

In this case the Court determined that the Husband’s conduct in relation to the matrimonial finances (including the alleged reckless spending and the non-payment of child support), impacted the division of assets.

New Magistrates Sentencing Guidelines for Public Order Offences

New guidelines for the sentencing of public order offences in the Jersey Magistrates Court have been published, and will come into effect on 9 June 2025.
