Are you doing something creative today? Writing? Painting? Cooking? Interpretative dance? Croft and I are working diligently (though distractedly) and watching joggers brave the rain.

So my mom just reminded me that KINGS OF THE WYLD is three years old today! To everyone who's read it, reviewed it, recommended it, reached out to tell me nice things about it, or sent me fan art (like this Felix Ortiz masterpiece!), thank you.
You've made my dreams come true.
@notanothernate @SamSykesSwears I have actually! I stumbled across Sam first, who then led me to Nicholas. The two of them are my favorite fantasy authors BY FAR.
Hoping to discover more authors just like them
Just finished devouring @Nicholas_Eames. Loved every single word of both books (no exaggeration). Now I'm looking for more recommendations.
Give me some #fantasy authors who are similar in...
-tone (heartfelt, yet fun)
-story (epic, yet fast paced)
-prose (witty, yet sublime)
2. I had a Minotaur who could take 5 actions per turn. Which could be either straight up attacks. Or placing walls/moving on the field, thereby creating cover, movement obstacles, etc.
What’s your best puzzle based fight? Like where the enemy isn’t challenging in itself, but the mechanics behind the terrain or lair actions or whatnot are what make it special.
I’ll provide two examples.

1. I had a fight where PCs made an INT save at the top of the round. If they failed, they were teleported to a different location. So they kept bouncing back and forth between these two rooms.
@OneCritWonder @stonefly_ky I appreciate the shout out. Dyveris--my whimsical & ornery illusionist--will always hold a special place in my heart. Glad he rubbed off on others. We gotta...
(A) coordinate another one-shot or two
(B) get you on our stream
(C) all of the above
(D) all of the above & then some
Aww, I remember when I was an Orbit debut! Eons ago, it seems. These all sound fantastic (The Wolf of Oren-Yaro by @k_villoso definitely is!). Also, I'm definitely not at all jealous of Luke Arnold's ability to pull off a moustache*
*I totally am
The most important thing in writing is to finish. A finished thing can be fixed. A finished thing can be published. A finished thing can be made into a movie.
An unfinished thing is just a dream. And dreams fade if you don't hold on tight enough.
So finish the thing.
