NEW BABY! Lenana has just introduced us to her second son, Laki. Nearly two months had passed since Lenana's last visit, but this proud mum returned to Ithumba flanked by her firstborn, Lapa, and her new calf.

Lenana paraded the latest member of the family outside the stockades, seemingly inviting the Keepers who raised her to admire little Laki — a poignant moment for everyone. Once introductions were complete, the trio disappeared into the lush Tsavo wilderness.

Today's short thread - wicked historical women, because not everybody's granny was a saint, right? 1st up, the Duchess of Sutherland, who ordered vicious evictions on her estates during the Clearances. There's a memorial to her in a pub in Partick, where she is named on a urinal.

We don't know yet IF a tsunami is occurring. The side to side motion of the earthquake slip reduces risk of severe tsunami.

STILL, this is a real threat, especially for bays/docks/marinas/coastal structures.
