I've no doubt the few fans who have been consistently wrong over the last few yrs will be all over this Martin appointment.
I hope he is successful & entertains us.
But if he does fail just know it won't be his or the hierarchies fault.
The 'toxic' fan base will be blamed, again🤪
Phone died, can of Pepsi max burst in my bag soaking my charger/cables, phone won’t charge due to “liquid detected”
Train connection cancelled at one Newark station, had to walk to the other. Train didn’t arrive, so waited an hour for the next.
Couldn’t get a ticket, so was asked to get off at a stop before Lincoln, snuck back on and made it back, wife drove past me so had to walk home in the rain…
And yet the Russell Martin news is still the worst thing to happen to me today.
Russell Martin if ur searching ur name on the social medias plz take the offer u have had in Spain. We don’t want u in Leicester, ur not a real manager
Think Russell Martin makes sense for Leicester City for so many reasons. Completely understand doubts or concerns. But in League One, he’s a great candidate.
Think some of the things I’ve read in the past, last week and today is absolutely wide of the mark. Being against a manager before his appointment, not sure.
It’s a chance for him to rebuild his own career whilst attempting to bring City back. Reset of playing squad (many expected to leave) will give him a clean slate.
More to come on Martin early next week. #LCFC
@joshhollandLCFC Fans are disconnected Josh. A large amount do not want this football & especially not Martin. The club (Rudkin & Top) can not read the room. There's still been no accountability for double relegation, no changes. King Power Out.
He’s going to get linked with the job each time it comes available, roughly every 6 months, so we may as well get it over and done with.
Also, shows Rudkin is still pulling the strings as we know he has been desperate for this appointment.
Leicester have always admired Martin for his style of play which is a major attraction for the Khun Top, the club’s owner and James McCarron
Russell Martin is seriously considering the prospect of taking his next job
