@theewizardharry@vv285430607@Failwhip pretty sure you meant one million and even still the requirements are an OR, according to this you could have 3 views across those 5 shorts and stay monetised
@Meghamix2023@alienbasher@CarlLaverick how many years do you expect someone to work before studying to save up 19k x 3 or more years of their course?? considering theyd likely need to save even more with inflation
@Meghamix2023@alienbasher@CarlLaverick Teaching costs is 9000 + a year and the max maintenance loan which is what the government expects people to live on is 10k. Quite frankly nobody can study at a university and work enough or in a skilled enough job (no degree yet) that makes them over 19k a year considering tax
@Meghamix2023@alienbasher@CarlLaverick I think youll find the government has actually retroactively changed the terms of plan 2 loans lol
Also yes, no one is forced to take it. But whats the other solution? None of the youth in the UK get an education to become technical/skilled workers??
@SnowAndSteady@Phantom_TheGame “he couldve made millions by pushing a sub genre of game that encourages gamers to get refunds” so how exactly does he make these millions when the point which will draw most ppl in is to get refunded lmao
@yiberto130220@Bry19971@Nickthedick96@whoriified@DudePurpose No, im not arguing for the policy to be removed or anything as detrimental to consumer rights as that.
Im saying that abuse of the policy is bad and whether you individually believe its a “slop game” or too short does not mean abuse of the policy should be excused
@yiberto130220@Bry19971@Nickthedick96@whoriified@DudePurpose as such yes i do believe that the people who left a positive review, stated they got their moneys worth and bragged about refunding it are NOT within their rights to do so (anymore) as they lost those rights when they abused the policy in the first place
@Bry19971@Nickthedick96@whoriified@DudePurpose cash back after admitting you got your moneys worth (and in a way, encouraging others to get the game under the pretence they can refund it after having fun too)
@Bry19971@Nickthedick96@whoriified@DudePurpose im all for the refund policy and will say ive used it myself a few times, but enjoying a game and stating as much yet requesting a refund is a bit weird and not a great show of character imo
@Bry19971@Nickthedick96@whoriified@DudePurpose correct me if im wrong but my understanding is the creator is unhappy with people openly admitting they got their moneys worth yet demanding that money back, which is totally fair to be uncomfortable with if you are a developer
