Want to recreate ChatGPT’s swipe menu in React Native? 🧠

I spent the morning building it. Here’s how it works:
→ Gesture Handler tracks the swipe
→ Reanimated handles movement, scale, and opacity
→ Codex helped me build a custom Expo module for the exact iOS screen radius
→ Older iOS and Android use hardcoded fallbacks

The detail that sells the effect: the corner radius never changes, so it feels like you’re moving the physical display.

In Expo SDK 56 you no longer need react-native, react, react-dom, or react-native-web installed to run `npx expo start` and create a bundle.

Anyone with an Expo account can connect an AI coding assistant to Expo docs and tools. We see devs using it for a lot of stuff, but here are a couple examples:

◆ Pulling official Expo docs and SDK guidance into the editor
◆ Inspecting Build status, workflow runs, logs, and TestFlight crashes
◆ Driving a local simulator to take screenshots, tap through flows, and collect logs
