Sparkle is pushing back hard against allegations made by her niece, Reshona Landfair.

Following Landfair’s recent sit down discussing her experiences with R. Kelly, the R and B singer took to social media to deny claims that she played any role in grooming or facilitating abuse. Sparkle says the accusations are false and insists she tried to intervene once she became aware of what was happening.

While acknowledging her niece’s trauma, Sparkle maintains she should not be blamed for the actions of R. Kelly, who is currently serving a lengthy prison sentence. The family dispute has reignited intense conversation online as both sides continue to share their versions of events.
