I’ve poured so much into friendships, family and every connection I’ve cared about. I’m finally stepping back and letting people show me what I mean to them. I’m prepared to walk away from anything that isn’t mutual. I deserve more, better, and at the bare minimum, effort.
The fact that we can start again every morning is proof of God’s mercy 🤍may this week be filled with blessings , happiness, money and endless opportunities.
@cessadelove1 God does not need us to pretend before Him. Bring Him the exhaustion, the disappointment, and the weakness. Sometimes faith is simply saying, “Lord, I need You,” and allowing Him to restore you.
Elijah was a mighty prophet of God, but even he reached a place where the weight of everything became too much. In 1 Kings 19:4, he poured out his heart to the Lord and said, “I have had enough, Lord.” Exhausted, discouraged, and overwhelmed, he no longer wanted to keep going. God didn’t shame him for being tired or condemn him for a weak moment. He met him in his exhaustion, let him rest, provided what he needed, strengthened him, and reminded him that his story was not finished. Be real with God. You don’t have to pretend you’re strong when you’re hurting. Tell Him when you’re tired, disappointed, or when life feels too heavy to carry. God can handle the truth of your heart. Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is admit, “Lord, I’m tired. I need You.” Just as He met Elijah in his lowest moment, trust that God can meet you there, restore your strength, and help you keep going.
Some of you desperately need to reconnect with the reality that most people are living in. Public transport is not a moral failure and poverty is not an “ick.”
There is a word for what you are - you’re classist. What you’ve tweeted is classism dressed up as an ick.
🚨 DOES ANYBODY ELSE FEEL LIKE WE NEVER REALLY CAME BACK FROM 2020? Something changed and I’m not just talking about COVID. Time feels faster, people feel more disconnected, and life doesn’t seem to have the same color it once had. Think about the 80s, 90s and early 2000s summers felt longer, music had eras, holidays had a feeling, and people seemed more present. Now everything moves so fast that years disappear like months. 2019 was 7 years ago… but does it really FEEL like it? 👁️ Call it a timeline shift, collective awakening, or the psychological aftermath of everything we experienced but something about life has never felt the same since. Who else feels it?
