"Though it went relatively unreported, four Virginia legislators flew abroad to attend: State Senator Scott Surovell (D-Fairfax), State Senator Russet Perry (D-Loudoun), State Senator Bryce Reeves (R-Orange), and Delegate Phillip Scott (R-Spotsylvania)."

We're up to 20 immigrant detainees (by the official count) dead this year in ICE custody, and 58 since the beginning of 2025. A new report finds a 138% increase in the annualized mortality rate under Trump, suggesting human rights violations.

@burgessev GOP spending money to attack him with over a month until the Dem primary doesn't sound like they're excited to face him at all. Why not keep your powder dry until there aren't any potential alternatives?
Apple is a $4 trillion corporation.
It's spending $310 billion on stock buybacks.
It made $112 billion in profits last year.
It's CEO, Tim Cook, is worth $2.9 billion.
Cook made $74 million last year.
Apple is screwing you over because it is addicted to greed - period.
This isn't really about supply costs. A different or newer chip doesn't add $200 to the production cost of making a laptop or iPad.
It's about maintaining the same profit margins -- the amount of pure profit that Apple gets to keep on every dollar it makes. Apple does not want that number to go lower. So it is charging you a LOT more for a relatively modest increase in its supply costs.
.@syracusedotcom reports two ICE agents tracked down a woman *inside a polling place* yesterday to demand that she take down an Insta post in which she named Jonathan Ross as the man who shot & killed Renee Good (after the Star Tribune identified Ross). https://t.co/WIB1hbqx5W
congressional democrats, whose approval rating has just barely been above pediatric cancer’s for the last decade, trying to get into a “it’s him or us” stand-off with Zohran Mamdani
Regrettably and with little surprise, Roanokers have learned that 16 surveillance devices were installed in unapproved locations throughout the community…
@MarkWarner I'd rather hear a plan from Democrats that goes above and beyond Roe's narrow (former) protections instead of another empty promise to "restore access."
NEW: As states hollow out mental health care systems, they're using jails as de facto mental health providers.
Jail is where people with mental illness cycle in and out of, basically as a state's public policy.
We just reported on that in Colorado. https://t.co/xJ03kiNjSp
