it’s so nice how Everyone Has To Be Sensitive about robby’s mental health and langdon’s addiction because these are obviously issues that extend beyond fictional characters and effect people in real life but no one cares to be sensitive in how they talk about SH and rape victims

"I had a lot of friends that liked to see how close the edge was... as if it was challenge they were called to meet. Trouble was is that they all inevitably found it."

maybe I'm just too woke, but I didn't find the "phantom of the pitt" scene funny at all, they're using Whitaker not having a home (bcs all their family issues) and living in poverty in the hospital (which I thought was private) as a joke btw med students
#pittspoilers being poor and homeless is already restrictive and makes you feel like less of a person. Now on top of that, Joy's taking a selfie with Dennis like he's some zoo animal so everyone else can treat him like a spectacle too☹️
I’m still stuck at joy knowing about Dennis living situation and it being a well known fact or even joke among med students. That’s actually sad.

the way it’s obvious that robby actually doesn’t want to leave and is probably scared about the plan he made for himself because he doesn’t want to die 🙂
people only liking robby when he's presented to them as an easy to digest idea of a man going through a mental crisis and not the ugly angry lashing out truth
god forbid a character is in a mental health crisis and suddenly they are the root of all evil, forget empathy, forget understanding. you guys aren't advocates of mental health, not when you viscerally hate the ugly and nasty parts of them
It's important for me that you know that the reason Robby is so open about what he's going to do is because he doesn't want to do it. It's really important to me that you know this, that all jokes are cries for help
Yall loved when Robby was breaking down in peds privately in s1 but hate how he's breaking down slowly and externally over the course of s2 by lashing out at others rather than just himself. Now everybody wants him to die. Yall are fake as fuck about caring about mental health
the fact that everybody on here goes “robby you need to d*e” whenever he behaves anything less than charitably in the most extreme possible situations is… hard to see, for me. perhaps i am just also a fundamentally bad person but my empathy for him only increases every episode
