There are a lot of topics going around right now, but we can’t overlook Jackie Young’s determination. In the 1st half, she focused on getting her teammates in rhythm. In the second, she torched the Fever and did everything she could to spark a comeback. Even when frustrated, she stayed grounded and kept her teammates grounded too.
There’s a reason she’s won at every level. She has a winner’s composure and mentality. I trusted her to close it out, but she couldn’t do it alone... and she shouldn’t have to.
So, we going to Game 3. 😩😩 Aces, get right!
I also asked Jackie about her playmaking and if she has seen growth in that regard within herself.
Young says that she hates turning the ball over so she used to always play it safe, but her mindset on that has shifted over the course of the year.
