La Loi visant une sécurité rigoureuse à la frontière permettrait de :
• Protéger l’intégrité du système d’asile en introduisant de nouvelles règles d’irrecevabilité
• Améliorer la manière dont les demandes d’asile sont reçues, traitées et tranchées
• Renforcer les pouvoirs permettant d’annuler, de suspendre ou de modifier des documents d’immigration et d’annuler, de suspendre ou d’arrêter d’accepter de nouvelles demandes

No threat at Mount Saint Vincent University

Police have confirmed there is no threat at Mount Saint Vincent University and the lockdown has been lifted.

Police responded at approximately 1 p.m. for second-hand reports that an armed robbery may have taken place at the University’s café. There were no reports of gunshots and no reports of injuries.

Police searched the school and found no evidence of a threat. A police presence will remain as the investigation continues.
