The man who made these impressive shots was killed in Donbas these days. He had a US citizenship, but moved to Ukraine in 2014, when Russia attacked Crimea and started the war in Donbas.

His name is Volodymyr Myronyuk, and he made his last report from the positions of the Ukrainian infantry, near the village, which AFU were trying to de-occupy. Due to heavy shelling, his body could not be taken from the battlefield for three days.

A Ukrainian, and a citizen of the United States, he worked in America for many years as a driver. He came to Ukraine when Russia attacked it. He was not a professional photographer. He was not a professional military. He just loved Ukraine, and his photos were the reflection of it.
