TPLF’s past political problems aside (which Abiy was part of), it’s difficult to assume TPLF wanted this war more so than Abiy. There is no question TPLF wants monopoly over Tigray (that’s called autonomy). I found it tough to believe TPLF wanted to comeback to Addis Ababa.

Eritrea is neck-deep in Tigray conflict. It has boots on the ground, using field guns to pound TPLF positions, coordinating with ENDF.
