@andyburnham So, let me get this straight, you're "tackling" the little things that may worry us rather than the most obvious and important issues such as being fleeced via more and more taxes or the forever increasing cost of living 🧐 REALLY?? You expect people to respect you? What a JOKE🤦♀️
I work the front desk at a small doctor’s office, and I wish people could see what happens on the other side of the phone. Every day, older patients call us confused.
They are told to use the patient portal, upload documents, check lab results online, fill out forms before the visit, and confirm everything through a link. Some of them do not know what a portal is.
Some do not have a smartphone.
Some have one, but they are afraid to click the wrong thing.
Last week, a man in his late 80s called about his test results.
He said, “Ma’am, I don’t mean to bother you, but the computer says I have a message and I don’t know how to open it.”
He sounded ashamed.
That broke my heart.
He should not have to feel ashamed for needing a human being.
Technology can be helpful. I understand that.
But when people who built this country are made to feel helpless because everything became a login and a password, we have gone too far.
Not everything needs to be an app.
Not every answer should be hidden behind a screen.
Sometimes people need a voice.
A patient person.
A real human who says, “Don’t worry, I can help you.”
Progress should not leave seniors behind.
Because one day, the world will move faster than us too.
And I hope someone is kind enough to slow down.
Dry grass does not ignite until it reaches temperatures above 250 degrees centigrade, or comes into contact with a naked flame or spark.
Wildfires are not started by warm weather, but by accident or arson.
Claims that wildfires are caused by climate change are false.
@Ed_Miliband Will you just be quiet, it's called Summer, not a "heatwave" (or series of), it's embarrassing hearing the rubbish that comes out of your mouth. What is a national emergency is the need of a general election to ensure you lunatics are taken off that top spot, you're dangerous.
@NotFarLeftAtAll Embarrassing. No-one voted him in, now he thinks hes some soet of celebrity, and in top of that he wants to spend more tax payer's money on travelling around the country, you just couldn't make it up, has he got no shame? 🧐🤦♀️😒
@andyburnham Too many people feel like you and your cronies are deliberately destroying this country and its people too - will you take action re this? 🤔 Let me save you time - you won't, because you're not only incapable of acting in favour of British people but you also lack integrity.
MP’s were told that vaccinations were ‘useless and dangerous’ in 1889 using data collected over 45 years
It takes very powerful forces to run a cover up running for 137 years. No wonder the Tories told me the harms and deaths from the Covid jabs would be covered up for 20 years !
@Jenny_1884 Absolutely. I had no problem walking down the street in a mini skirt and crop top after a very late night out on my own, I felt safe enough to walk all the way home. There is no way a young girl could do that safely now, they wouldn't make it, it's quite scary.
@mjdaly57 The woman who thought it was acceptable to walk into my back garden by letting herself in through the closed gate to persuade me to vote for her, then looked really put off when my dog run up to her barking like mad. And not even an apology for the intrusion, the arrogance... 😒
It’s official sunscreen is harmful to you. Big Pharma has done it again with the help of the obedient reporting of the MSM.
Humans need sunshine for health and well-being.
“Net Zero: Let’s make UK energy the most expensive in Europe, shut our factories, destroy jobs and local economies, plaster solar panels over thousands of acres of farmland, spend £billions turning off wind turbines because we can’t use their energy supply, spend £30 billion on carbon capture machines, ban new oil and gas licenses in the North Sea but spend £40billion buying North Sea oil and gas from Norway, blame cow burps, reduce red meat consumption and freeze pensioners so global CO2 drops by 0.0003%. But we will also build hundreds of AI data centres that guzzle natural resources and energy. China’s still building coal plants like it’s 1950 but at least we get to feel superior while the rest of the world laughs over our sheer stupidity. Genius.”
So...
We're not allowed to buy air conditioners for our houses to cool them in hot summer weather, because we don't have enough electricity to power them, because the solar panels and wind turbines we installed to stop the planet getting hot in summer, don't work when it's hot and windless in summer, so we'd need to burn gas, oil and coal instead to power the AC to cool our houses, but we blew up the oil, gas and coal power stations to stop the planet getting hot in summer, but it's still hot in summer.
But it's still ok to install heat pumps in winter, heat pumps which are also air conditioners and use the same amount of electricity or more, but we still won't have enough electricity to power them on cold, dark, windless winter evenings, because solar panels and wind turbines don't work then either, and we blew up the gas, oil and coal fired power stations because they were making the planet too hot in winter as well as summer.
Have I missed anything?
🙄🤡🌍
@JamesMelville It's unbelievable really, the gaslighting is just out if control, and the worst part is that there will be people who actually believe every word they are fed... 🤦♀️
