@Jason2bartlett And, just go add, my town isn't so small that the people know me. The owners might know my face by they don't know my name or where I live. Our town is at least 40,000 people, but prob only 200-250 people know of this farmstand.
@Jason2bartlett I use a little farm stand by my house. Sometimes, the owners are there, often not. It's in the honor system including iou ( either way ) you can put a note in saying I owe you or over pay and make a "you owe me" note. Then you just mention it the next time you go there. 1/
@GrageDustin Personally, I’m more ok with just being naked although I would NOT be there and no way in hell would take my kids, than some of the sexual crap they show with so the bdsm stuff and weirdo stuff.
@japan_nobunaga For me, is it emotional or have habit, it depends. It depends what’s going on in the country in the world. Sometimes the singer is so good that it really grabs your attention. But I am glad that we do it as a matter of fact.
Apparently we need to remind the world of the Nuremberg Code. These 10 principles were developed after the Doctors’ Trial to ensure ethical research involving human participants.
1. Voluntary informed consent is essential. Participants must freely choose to take part, have legal capacity to consent, and understand the nature, purpose, risks, and benefits of the research.
2. The research must have genuine social value. It should aim to produce important knowledge that cannot be obtained by other means.
3. The study should be based on prior evidence. Animal experiments and existing scientific knowledge should justify proceeding to human research.
4. Unnecessary suffering must be avoided. Researchers should minimise physical and mental harm.
5. No experiment should be conducted if death or disabling injury is expected, except perhaps where the researchers themselves also serve as participants.
6. Risks must be proportionate to the humanitarian importance of the problem. The greater the risk, the stronger the justification required.
7. Adequate preparations and safeguards must be in place to protect participants against injury, disability, or death.
8. Only scientifically qualified researchers should conduct the study, exercising the highest level of skill and care.
9. Participants may withdraw at any time if they no longer wish to continue.
10. Researchers must stop the experiment if continuing is likely to result in injury, disability, or death.
The first principle - voluntary, informed consent- is generally regarded as the cornerstone of the Code.
@MrAndyNgo@jamestalarico Just to note, I find so many of these signs and chants extremely offensive but I know they’re “ allowed” to spew this crap so I tune out and avoid this irl hopefully. You know, because I understand what the 1st amendment means. I wouldn’t become violent to stop this grossness.
@AlinejadMasih And no one raped you. Not that that would be permitted. No man was overcome with his uncontrollable lust. What a concept! Glad you had fun!
@sappholives83 Devil’s doorbell! Ha ha! I mean the only part of the clit bring part of reproduction is to make us more interested in sex in the first place. If anything, it’s God’s motivator and maybe the reward if we’re lucky.
@BuckAngel “It’s called HRT” - yeah, cause you all call it that ERRONEOUSLY! It’s cross sex hormones therapy and exogenous Testosterone IS a steroid! Scary that these folks don’t understand this ( or they do and just like to lie).
@EricLDaugh IF the person is working, paying taxes, hasn’t been in any trouble with the law, isn’t on gov assistance, then, MAYBE , they could be reviewed to stay. Let’s see how many meet that criteria.
@BuzzPatterson Fair? If the situation was reversed, our players would likely be taken hostage. ( not that we would have sent our players) So, be happy you were able to participate with safety.
