Actual Marxists and sociologists understand that the 1950s 'trad' phenomenon itself was a bit of a simulacrum. Women had been running large parts of the economy during the war, as the men were forced to fight, thus you had archetypes like "Rosie the Riveter" in the popular imaginary.

After the war, women went from being secretaries, factory workers, and farmers, and put on their department store blouses and became Better Homes and Gardens-reading housewives. They followed the recipes on the back of the box. Society was somewhat-centrally planned via advertisements and consumerist trends. The 1950s weren't "trad", they were a radical experiment in consumerism and social engineering, following the creation of a universalist "American" identity where people largely assimilated out of their old world European identities they were still holding onto (if they were recent Ellis Islanders, as many were) and became fully "American", fully "Mass Man", fully consumerist.

The prosperity of the 50s was also built on the fact that the factories of Europe were totally bombed out, so America naturally underwent a boom period as our factories were untouched. This period in the 50s was never going to last forever and the fact that trads exalt this period in history without knowing the underlying history shows why they are retarded and useless. They don't actually understand the 50s, they think they are grasping for tradition but what they are actually grasping for was a radical social experiment that they have yet to understand fully.

Instagram Groypers are the way they are because their mode of being “red pilled” was through images and not text. Most of the older Groypers probably got red pilled on places like 4chan or even Reddit where they actually saw the arguments, debates, and distinctions of the far right fully written out over a period of years. The same is true with newer X Groypers.

Instagram and TikTok Groypers on the other hand are obsessed with surface level aesthetics and fundamentally do not understand the deeper ideology and nuances of America First, which is why they always crash out whenever Nick says that Hitler wasn’t the greatest man to ever live or that Charlie Kirk wasn’t killed by Israel. They got red pilled watching “based” White identity and anti-Jewish edits but never actually absorbed all the relevant information and ideology that’s required for a holistic understanding of our political reality.
