One of the first subjects covered in the first year of my Psychology 1101 was IQ tests being inaccurate and having massive cross cultural issues. No professional takes them as an absolute measure of anything.

For a start there isnt an accepted definition of intelligence. We think IQ is correlated with a type of intelligence but its usefulness is dependant on context.

Secondly there are inherent cultural biases. Sitting down to a test is not a thing every culture is used to.
Is an African 7 yr old Kenyan child who is bilingual or who takes care of farm animals before school less intelligent than an 7 yr old American just learning to tie his shoes and couldn't find his way home on a map?
Using IQ to measure different cultures is like saying a person is bad at sports because they don't know how to play ice hockey.
Only dimwits and white people think IQ is a measure of anything more than cultural experiences.
