Really enjoyed my time working with you Roly.
Fantastic event for a fantastic cause - too many taken; far too soon.
You’re a top bloke mate. Enjoy every second of your retirement. 👍

Now we're joining Diane inside Fire Control at our Leamington Spa HQ.
We hope these videos will give a taste of a day in the life of fire control.

Yesterday, WFRS's Chief Fire Officer Ben Brook, visited #CommonwealthGames22 Lawn Bowls Event at Victoria Park Leamington Spa. We're here ensuring people stay safe in the hot weather and advising them about fire safety in the summer months. If you see us do come and say hello 👋
@Lionesses Congratulations Ladies. I’m absolutely delighted for each and every one of you. Fantastic game.
Is it home yet? It is now!!…⚽️⚽️
One word says it all…..
We are grateful for the support and kind words from the Home Secretary @pritipatel, praising our preparations to make sure these games are safe and secure, and mirror her praise to our colleagues in other services. It's a privilege to be part of @birminghamcg22#B2022
Control room operatives play a vital role in emergency services, keeping callers calm, ascertaining information and ensuring help is dispatched fast. Think this could be you? We’re recruiting fire control apprentices: https://t.co/dVYhkJvzSq
Applications close 3 August 2022.
It's hot out there!
The water can still be very cold and can lead to cold water shock and drowning.
If you find yourself in trouble in water #FloatToLive
If someone is in trouble in water call 999.
Ask for Fire inland and Coastguard at the coast.

Today we remember the 52 people who lost their lives 17 years ago in the 7/7 London terror attacks. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of those who lost their lives, as well as with the emergency service workers who worked in the toughest of circumstances to save lives.
A huge thanks to all who took part, including Fire Control, at an exercise last night in Wolvey.Testing our BA procedures and OB working with @LeicsFireRescue, as well as smoke hoods, and ‘enhanced’ casualty care. Great support too from Community First Responder Team. Well done!
We are happy to inform that Kenneth Holt has now been found and is safe.
A big thank you to those who shared and supported our appeal and to everyone who assisted in the search for him.
Ensors Pool is a hot spot for this, I know it is going to be hot, but just stay out of the water eh, its dangerously deep there https://t.co/wQTUBSXlr1
Firefighters will be carrying out a training exercise tomorrow at King Edward College in Nuneaton. There will be several blue light services involved, so please don’t be alarmed if you see a number of emergency vehicles heading to the site, it's all part of a planned exercise.
Bikers, it might be a beautiful warm & sunny day out there, but the tarmac will still cause you significant harm if you come off without the right protection.
Dress for the slide, not the ride!

More than 2 in 5 men (43%) say they regularly feel worried or low, an increase from 37% in 2009.
To all the men struggling with their mental health, we're here for you this #MensHealthWeek (and every other week) 💙
Thanks to @worrywellbeing for the brilliant illustration.
