@marthie I'm late to the party but Jennifer Egan's The Candy House, Kazuo Ishiguro's Klara and the Sun, or John M Harrison's The Sunken Land Begins to Rise Again, could all provide some inspiration on this front!
Today we say goodbye to this great blue bird
This logo was designed in 2012 by a team of three. @toddwaterbury, @angyche and myself,
The logo was designed to be simple, balanced, and legible at very small sizes, almost like a lowercase "e", a 🧵
I’m ill and sad today, and I just came out of four hours of teaching, and honest to god I stared at this infographic for ages, uncomprehending, and had to check this wasn’t a parody account. I’m truly speechless.

When I worked as an Associate Lecturer, I worked out I was being paid £4 per hour when you factored in all the hours I put in to deliver quality seminars & student feedback. Solidarity to all the striking workers fighting this broken model.
