@TonyGrimes1999 @Ravi986 @squawksquare My main point is that one cannot simply say the company is worth any price. Valuation increased 100bn just the last 2 weeks. Nothing fundamentally changed. I’d be very carefull at these levels and would advise anyone to not get caught in this euphoria

@squawksquare I totaly agree with your take on Tesla. Many new individual investors do not understand the financial fundamentals of the company. Very bad risk/reward opportunity in Tesla right now. Good time to take some profits, more people should hear this

@Ravi986 @squawksquare How can you say cheap? These earnings are unpredictable and quite risky. There is no guarentee that the growth story of Tesla will continue. I sure hope so but at this price, the risk is far too big imo

@squawksquare in my opinion the worst thing about the Tesla community. Whenever someone sells and takes profit, which is the sane thing to do, they get shit on from so many sides.

If you sell far out of the money calls like the 500 calls it is getting more unlikely, but with Tesla you never know. I usually sell covered calls on big blue chips like AT&T or Pepsico

The current premium for 460 9th Oct. calls is around 10$ which means for each call that you sell you’ll get 1000$ in premium. Never sell naked calls always make sure you have the shares to cover your call!

@Steve_0_1 @myrage37 @AdamHoov @elonmusk ... and you are basically saying that the stock price does not exceed that strike price, otherwise your shares will be called away at the quoted price. It’s quite risky for a stock that moves as much as Tesla does but can get you huge premiums if it expires worthless
