@Ask_Spectrum Spectrum has a major issue with accountability. You guys are never transparent with people. When is the last time Spectrum made public any root/cause information??? Ahh NEVER. You also never admit regional problems even though external sites track your service and make it clear.

@Ask_Spectrum What's going on with your service??? Spotty outages for 3-4 days straight now. Multiple EXT sites confirm this is a large scale problem in MI. No one can trust your site to be transparent. Between you and @DTE_Energy something is always down.

@DTE_Energy @Ask_Spectrum Just to add context to this, @Ask_Spectrum has failed to maintain battery backups on the cable lines, so Internet and cable communications immediately go down if the electrical lines are not energized.

@DTE_Energy Finding new reasons to despise DTE every day. My power didn't even go out for once. This is progress, EXCEPT there is an outage near me and due to this I have no TV/NET for 24 hours. Thanks @Ask_Spectrum !
These companies need to answer for the neglect of our infrastructure.

@n0j024 @Ask_Spectrum Seriously man. I just had this discussion with them. They charge almost $250 per month now and all you can get out of them is "your area is affected by an outage" (yeah no kidding) and "we have no ETA for repairs". Utilities as a whole need a rude awakening.

@crisrodz03 @DTE_Energy Oh but ask DTE...this storm was "Historic". They always try to create their own narrative. There is nothing historic here except for DTEs failure. This happens every 2-3 years. Trying to convince people that the weather is getting worse when really it is just their grid.

Temps to drop below 20F by morning. Probably 10s or even 100s of thousands of pipes will burst destroying people's homes. Lives may be lost. DTE is at fault.

@emjay123 @DTE_Energy Not to mention it doesn't show the scope of the outage and will only show you an area outline that is out if you zoom all the way in. Almost like they don't want anyone to know how much land is without power...
