I'm too boring. I have a full time data engineering job and two young kids. I don't have the time or energy to make new friends or maintain relationships on new channels. I don't really have any content to offer. My presence will probably die in this channel lol.
I need an AU where Grandma told her son Moana was chosen and he's like "I'm not sure about that" so she yeets baby Moana into the ocean and gets to do a smug dance when the ocean carries that giggling babby back to the beach in a little turtle shell and clam necklace
I like how the grandma in Moana acknowledges she's crazy because if she was sane she would have told her son (and corroborating with "the ocean") that her granddaughter was chosen and given the heart of te fiti and they should prep her for the task as much as possible.
My husband played bioshock 2 with me spectating and we debated for 15 minutes on if we should do an assisted suicide, what we want, what the mechanics want, what the characters want etc. We made the right decision in the end.
"What's wrong, coach?"
"They're censoring the panty shots in Skullgirls, Brendan"
"Oh, I didn't know you played fighting games, Coach. Who do you main?"
"I don't play fighting games, Brendan"
"Oh. Then why do you care?"
"Let me teach you about culture wars, Brendan"
Last night my husband couldn't sleep so he started watching Commando. I had never seen it. It's like it was written by 12 year olds for 12 year olds in the best way. My husband says it was one of his favorite movies growing up and his smile watching it was really cute
I want to learn how to trace over photos in Ibis paint so I've been practicing sketching/tracing over a picture of my son sleeping. I'm proud of my progress so far ❤️ This is all with a Google pixel and a cheap stylus
I know I'm in the minority but my neurodivergent ass fuckin loves the concept of sprints in a job environment. Yes please let's meet for a few minutes every day and organize our goals in what we can accomplish together in two weeks and make sustainable workloads
Corporate culture is literally Jenga with people. Those on the bottom foundation are slowly removed and the tower totters as more are put on the top until the inevitable collapse
Sure is cool to witness firsthand the fall of capitalism from the inside lol. Executives jump ship every few years from place to place and push everyone to drop everything and start from scratch and it's a revolving door of people trying to clean up the pieces
