I’ll respectfully make my point as clear as possible too, I mean that, 100%; no disrespect or ill-tone in writing intended. This is a good discussion amongst Children of Holy Mother Church, haha! So, please forgive the lengthy response! I haven’t come to my conclusion blindly, so I’ll gladly express my point clearly.
To treat Fatima as an option is the reason why The Church is in the state that it’s in; we merit what we pray for. Our Lady guided us at Fatima in the manner of how The Church Militant should wage war, she drew the battle plan for us, and we’ve ignored her.
You say Magisterium, as you are loyal daughter of The Church, wonderful! I say yes to that, partially. I say listen to both, keeping in mind that That Holy Mother Church is governed by Her highest law, The Salvation of Souls. I’ll show why this matters here.
Aquinas, in the Summa speaks of a much forgotten word, “Epikeia”, in relation to ecclesiastical laws, he says the following:
“when we were treating of laws, since human actions, with which laws are concerned, are composed of contingent singulars and are innumerable in their diversity, it was not possible to lay down rules of law that would apply to every single case. Legislators in framing laws attend to what commonly happens: although if the law be applied to certain cases it will frustrate the equality of justice and be injurious to the common good, which the law has in view. Thus the law requires deposits to be restored, because in the majority of cases this is just. Yet it happens sometimes to be injurious—for instance, if a madman were to put his sword in deposit, and demand its delivery while in a state of madness, or if a man were to seek the return of his deposit in order to fight against his country. On these and like cases it is bad to follow the law, and it is goodto set aside the letter of the law and to follow the dictates of justice and the common good. This is the object of "epikeia" which we call equity. Therefore it is evident that "epikeia" is a virtue.”
In simple speech, epikeia is an appeal to the spirit of the law, something the Pharisees could not comprehend.
The Magisterium, according to Aquinas, would be unable to write positive law for every case, it appears to be the case with Fatima. Therefore, taking the highest law of the Church, the salvation of souls, in relation to epikeia, I’ve come to the conclusion that to offer due justice to Christ, we must obey Our Lady at Fatima, as is a matter of necessity for the salvation of souls.
I’ll continue to take the stance of both, because when Our Lady, Our Blessed Mother, more Mother than any mother makes a request, under the 4th commandment I obey, for the salvation of souls is grave matter. All of that is the cause for my reasoning. Take all the time in the world, we all have lives away from this app, God bless you, Our Lady keep you.
I’m happy to be corrected, but I just don’t see how obeying The Blessed Virgin Mary is optional, it sure wasn’t for Juan Diego on tepeyac hill, haha! Viva Cristo Rey!
After the massacre of Chios in 1822, the Muslim Turk commander Vahit Pasha ordered the beheading of all the remaining Christian prisoners. He had their skulls stuffed with light straw. The next day he sent them to the Sultan, along with five loads of other heads and two loads of ears belonging to people of the lower classes. These were the "trophies of his victory."
52,000 Greek Christians were sold into slavery, and 42,000 men, children, and women were slaughtered.
Young girls were raped publicly in the streets, and newlyweds in front of their husbands, who were then slaughtered. Others were raped in front of their parents, after which the men's genitals were cut off. Women over 40 were set on fire and left to burn alive. Pregnant women had their bellies ripped open and their fetuses pulled out, while small children were thrown forcefully against rocks. The frenzy of the Muslims was unprecedented.
Many Turkish soldiers cut off the heads of Greek Christians and then licked their swords. With this act, they believed they would earn a place in paradise. Others were hanged from the island's trees for deterrence. Severed human limbs and corpses were scattered on the streets, while the sea had turned red from the blood. The smoke from the burning houses had covered all of Chios, while the flames made the night look like day. Several women from Chios preferred death over dishonor and slavery. They committed suicide by jumping off cliffs. Some were killed while defending their children, siblings, and husbands.
Remember the date: 30 March 1822

This virtue signaling loser uses a single story to weave a lie of an entire group of people. They’re far better Catholics than Erik Scammons will ever be.
I've always been sympathetic to those who, due to the vast confusion and scandal that's come out of Rome in recent decades, have been tempted to believe there might not be a pope.
But the reason I'm so strongly opposed to sedevacantism (besides it being wrong and faithless) is that it's full of people with real mental issues—and it fosters those mental issues.
Pray that all sedevacantists would leave that destructive movement and find peace in Christ and His Church.
Pope Leo claimed false religions are "fruitful" and "guardians of life" at an interfaith meeting in France, contradicting Church teaching.
He quoted Pope Francis that dialogue aims at "friendship, peace and harmony."

In 1480, a Turkish army captured the Italian city of Otranto. They gave the people a choice: convert to Islam or die. Eight hundred Christian men refused. They were executed on a hill outside the city.
@honorablesaint Only place I want to see the guy on the right is at a Bazaar in a desert wanting to sell me a map, that he thought was fake, to some long forgotten treasure.
“PAH-LEEZ, COME IN! See my wares!”
@Italian347 spends time making some very funny jokes about other people, constantly, and he can’t handle a little joke thrown into his post. I guess he took it personal for some odd reason; soft.
