Why does everyone hate snipers in every game now?

Every game is having 1 shot snipers removed bc people complain.

Back in my day you were a nerd for reg gunning. Snipers were cool. Using non meta weapons were cool. Ppl that only sweat with the best guns were dorks. idgi
