I started replaying #MedievalDynasty recently. It's one of those resource management games where the first "year" is mostly spent picking up sticks and rocks.
While cleaning up sticks in my own back yard this afternoon I realized that being a peasant is more fun online than IRL.
My favorite part is when people discover that we live in a created reality, watched over and guided by weird beings we can't comprehend.
But "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" is just sand people nonsense no modern person would take seriously.
What's fun about Barrett Derangement Syndrome is that last week she was told how awful she is for her position in the TPS case *despite* having a Haitian child and now she's told how awful she is in the birthright case *because* she has a Haitian child. https://t.co/OHP70FrjRc
On Monday morning, armed attackers stormed a secondary school in Nigeria, firing into the grounds and abducting a number of students, 16- and 17-year-olds gathered to sit for their exams. Several women nearby were taken as well.
By God's mercy, security forces prevented a larger tragedy, and ten students and some teachers have already been rescued. The search for the others continues.
Two of our Field Ministers in Nigeria are heading to the site of the attack to assess the situation and see how we can help on the ground.
We will update you as we hear more from them.
Please pray:
- For the safe return of every student, teacher, and woman still missing.
- For the rescued children and the families still waiting, that God would comfort the brokenhearted.
- For the Church across Nigeria, for protection and faith in the midst of overwhelming persecution.
Thank you for standing with our brothers and sisters in Nigeria.

Haiti is going to benefit immensely from the infusion of 1.3 million people who have spent the past 15 years studying in American schools, working for American companies, saving American dollars.
It would be cruel to deny poor #Haiti these benefits.
What a hellishly cruel and stupid mess SCOTUS has enabled.

Nothing Woods says is wrong here. He's absolutely correct. But.
Anyone paying attention has known this for 5 years.
No one is going to hang for it.
They're already doing it again.
So pardon me if I don't share the impotent outrage of Conservative, inc. About anything.
