Best. Day. Ever!
World Book Day was once again a massive success!
We saw the return of our annual book sale and book scavenger hunt, as well as house competitions and staff fancy dress.
Shout out to Mrs Balleine and to the MFL department for a particularly good effort on the fancy dress front.
Not only was it World Book Day at Le Rocquier, but it was also results day for English Literature.
We have everything crossed for you, Year 11! We are confident that your hard work will have payed off.
Please check back later for #WBD photos and exam result updates.
Today, Year 11 will receive their iGCSE English Literature results from the exams they sat in January.
We are also celebrating World Book Day at Le Rocquier today.
These two celebrations seem to fit quite agreeably with one another!
Y11 are in, revising, and getting ready for their first literature exam on Tuesday 11th January.
A great turn out: well done Y11!
See you again tomorrow, bright and early!

7PR represented not only Le Rocquier Signing Choir, but Jersey too. We joined forces with schools across Liverpool to try and stamp out bullying. Their performance at the Cathedral can be seen online. Please watch the clip of 7PR signing 'No Matter What' for Anti Bullying Week.
Faces new and old helped put this weekโs 60 Second Update together.
Well done Isla & Zoe for editing the update. And a special thank you for not throwing the Mac out the windowโฆ letโs just say there were technical issues! P.S. SORRY WEโRE LATE!

The Press Team have been a little quiet recently due to Covid restrictions meaning we couldnโt collaborate in the way we wanted to.
But we never went away completely.
Some dedicated reporters have been squirreling away in the background, doing research, conducting interviews, and contributing to our end of year digital magazine.
CALLING ALL Y11 STUDENTS!
Ms. Sutherland will be running literature revision every Saturday in November from 9am - 11am.
Your FINAL literature exams:

We challenged our new Year 7 students to read as much as they could over the summer holidays, with the top reader being rewarded with a Kindle!
Well done to all who took part and who earned A HUGE number of House points for their house.

LRS English would love for you to find inspiration in this historic Jersey moment, and write your very own protest speech.
