Important breakthrough article by LBORI member @ActiveLesbians in mainstream media on the injustice of requiring government permission to meet in public as lesbians.
A significant milestone here in Australia: our opinion piece in @abcnews - the best thing you can do is discuss it with friends & family who are not listening to our point of view & are entrenched in the one-sided views the ABC normally pump out:

Museum of Edinburgh has an exhibition Past Shelves: Histories of Queer Reading. It comprehensively erases lesbians by referring throughout to "LGBTQ+" (which hadn't even been invented yet.)
We've written to complain and told them why their use of activist language erases lesbians and denies the existence of lesbian community and culture.
Language matters.
My heart breaks for lesbians. There were never large numbers of exclusively same-sex attracted women. Now they are being dismantled. Young girls are transitioning before they get the chance to explore their sexuality, and men are demanding access to every space, intimate or otherwise. A fragile culture built by one of the most marginalised and misunderstood groups is dying, and very few care.
And before anyone comes here to tell me “lesbians won’t save your career,” again, I know.
