This conversation trigged me @RelebogileM , a hospital in Mthatha called me at 03:15 in the morning to tell me my mother passed, no sympathy, nothing.

The death to them was just incidental and they wanted to ask which mortuary she must be sent to.

Apparently, these mortuary pay nurses to give them people’s bodies

They did the same to my grandmother

I don’t think they had to tell me at 03:15 when they could have waited for the morning. Hospitals have their own mortuaries, she could have been placed there until I am told with respect that she has passed and then asked which insurances she had.

The night call was to ask me about the mortuary

@lEsethuHasane @RelebogileM I got a call at 06:00 from Stellenbosch hospital to ask when I'm collecting the body. That's how I found out that my former husband had died. I'm next of kin, we saw each other regularly, he had no other family.

His ashes are still here in my home.

It seems the country will be saved by public servants who stand up; not by politicians who are meant to provide them with direction, but instead subject them to harm, detriment, and pressure to commit wrongdoing.

Mind you I was at work I screamed to the elevators down to undercover alone and drove to my place...yhooo
