A full-circle moment as I joined the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at @UniofOxford last week for an inaugural Executive Training “Future-Proofing Business and the Economy", in collaboration with @_un_page alongside a cohort of global leaders #ClimateLeadership
Interactive & engaging discussions focused on political, economic, environmental & technological forces reshaping our world, and how to build economies & organizations that are resilient, competitive, inclusive & sustainable in the face of rapid global change @UniofOxford
Leaving Oxford with new perspectives, frameworks & plenty of ideas for the next chapter of my organization @LESF_ca including identifying transition challenges in terms of risks/opportunities & pathways for chartering a future course of priority actions towards a green vision!
Completing this training at Oxford School of Geog. & Environment is a full-circle moment as I started out as a geographer. After journeys in business, academia, law, policy, governance & politics I found my way back to where it all began - now with a more interdisciplinary lens.
And just like that, three intense, inspiring and incredibly rewarding days at the @UniofOxford have come to an end, but not without some fun Oxford tours, a formal dinner and many great friendships. My sustainability journey continues and I’m excited for what comes next!

Global warming is set to cross 1.5°C, pushing climate risks and impacts to increasingly dangerous heights, a new UNEP report warns.
Predicted impacts include extreme weather and threats to human health and economies.
Action now can still limit the magnitude and duration of the peak and preserve the possibility of returning to or below 1.5°C through an ‘overshoot, peak, and decline’ pathway
