Cst. Shaw was a decorated veteran of the British Expeditionary Force & had been a pilot with the Royal Flying Corps in WWI. Cst. Shaw had 2 daughters and is buried in Swan River, MB. There is a street at @RCMPDepot named in Cst. Shaw’s honour.
