after 4,5 years of endlessly receiving hate, mistreatment, unfair criticism and the harshest comparisons for her singing (and even talking) voice, i’m so happy that eunchae is taking fearless steps out of her comfort zone to give us such a beautiful cover like this 🫂

this cover is so important to me because it must take courage right? it’s not easy for her and it was never easy. it’s not easy when hating on le sserafim but especially hating on eunchae and her vocals are “a trend.” it’s not easy when everyone on the internet waits for even a small moment to drag her down for likes and clout. it’s not easy when your company keeps letting you down by never giving you enough opportunities to showcase your talents or to redeem yourself. and it’s definitely not easy when your own fandom, so called “ot5 fearnots” continuously fails you with never seeing and appreciating how talented and promising you actually are. i’ve always knew it was going to worth the wait and oh it did!!! i literally can’t stop listening to this cover :’)

FIRST singing cover in four and a half years and eunchae picked such a hard, alternative r&b / soul song, space by audrey nuna. obviously not something she can’t pull off though because listen to her… her voice softer than silk and vocals cleaner than ever, she sounds so heavenly and dreamy. genres like r&b suits her vocal tone so perfectly that it makes you want to listen to her for hours if not forever.

i am just so incredibly proud of eunchae. not only of this cover specifically or because of this cover but so proud of this confident and multi-talented artist that she’s becoming every day. she’s not just a professional dancer or a performer but an amazing singer too. i always think i simply can’t love eunchae more, appreciate her more or be more proud of her but she never fails to surprise me and leave me mesmerized. thank you for always coming up with new reasons to make me be a proud kkamp and fearnot eunchae. i couldn’t be more luckier to be able witness your growth 💌

and i hope this cover helps people and especially fearnots to wake up and actually acknowledge eunchae’s skills. i hope with this new dance and singing covers and videos people realize that she’s more than a cute maknae or a baby sister and her role in the group holds a bigger space. i hope the reactions to this cover feeds eunchae’s confidence so that she can post more and more of her many talents and specialties as a singer, dancer, performer, songwriter and a choreographer. i hope this is just a beginning of new opportunities 🤞🏻🍀 i can’t wait to see what else eunchae will do to make me proud, i love being a kkamp so much 🤍
