In Kenya 🇰🇪 I learned running a business is dangerous.
“They can do ANYTHING to you, they can just kill you.” a close investor friend of mine told me when she learned I advised a company with political people affiliated (charles kerich, CEC Nairobi County).
“They’re becoming too big now so the government might want a cut” another investor friend told me days ago.

One of his companies is so successful that the government wants a piece as usual is the assumption.

Completely normal for them, East Africans, and many locals I met.

Completely CRAZY to me.

In countries I lived in (EU, US, Asia) businesses are merits based and follow regulations.

CEO thomas ogutu whom I advised told me after some time that charles was onboard to help contractors get rid of any crimes and to advance his Vegrid Ltd company significantly.

Of course it is illegal to have a government person aboard let alone who oversees the county the company works on.
So in Kenya they use “proxies” they told me, in this case charles kerich’ brother andrew signed for him.
Never heard of him, only of charles.
But in the US branch Vegriddy charles kerich signed. Because in US you cannot run these schemes.

Anyways, they did end up threatening my life and apparently charles kerich still runs Nairobi County’s public money flow. Btw the largest public money flow one single person can be responsible for in Kenya. @EAukot told me that, because he’s good friends with both. Also a thing I only learned AFTER I engaged Aukot.

I tell you NONE of this flies in any other country I lived or been in, and that’s over 50.
