This International Women’s Day, we stand with Palestinian women who continue to lead in the path towards liberation. Freedom from gendered oppression is not complete without the liberation of all oppressed people, here and across the world.
Incredible moment when Israel's occupation, Israel's apartheid, and Israel's destruction of Gaza are called out at the Oscars!
Thank you @basel_adra & @yuval_abraham for your powerful voices.

"This whole place used to look like a pastoral village just two-three weeks ago, and now - complete destruction. That's what will happen to the evil people who mess with us"
Channel 12's pseudo-journalist and genocidal national sweetheart Danny Kushmaro joined the Israel Annihilation Forces in the south Lebanese village of Ayta al-Sha'b. His 27-minute-long piece about it is basically a long propaganda ad, glorifying the IDF, of course, but mainly concentrating on demonizing the Lebanese villages and their inhabitants, claiming they're military bases rather than villages, and essentially promoting the notion, even if not outright spelling it out, that there are "no involved" in South Lebanon.
In the final scene in the piece, Kushmaro actually takes part in the annihilation of the village, pushing a trigger to detonate a building. The utter delight he takes from the village's destruction is truly sickening.
This is mainstream "journalism" in Israel nowadays. Full complicity.
I trimmed the piece before translating but it's still pretty long (8 minutes). They had a lot of dehumanization to do. Get your vomit bags ready.
I am honoured to be the recipient of this Environmental Bursary that will enable me to invite kids from the Munduruku indigenous peoples to create work together. As done with my own children during the pandemic. Thank you The Royal Photographic Society and the Munduruku people.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres:
“What we are witnessing in Gaza is a killing of civilians [especially children] that is unparalleled and unprecedented in any conflict since I am Secretary-General. As you know, we report every year on children killed in armed conflicts by different actors. I have already presented seven reports, and in these reports the highest number of children killed in one year by one actor was the Taliban in 2017-8. The second by the Syrian government and its allies, before 2020, and it was around 700. We’ve had Russia last year: 350. We had Saudi Arabia, if you remember the uproar in relation to Yemen. In one year, the maximum was 300. Now, without entering into discussion about the accuracy of the numbers that were published by the authorities in Gaza, what is clear is that we’ve had in a few weeks thousands of children killed. So this is what matters”.
