Democracy places a simple but important responsibility on every citizen: to participate.

The challenges facing our municipalities and our country will not be solved by frustration alone. Progress requires active citizens who are willing to engage, contribute, and help shape the direction of our nation.

As voter registration approaches, I encourage every eligible South African to take part in the democratic process. The future belongs to those who show up, not those who stand aside.
