Movie Community on X has become exhausting.
Almost every post is the same: 'Name a one word movie,' 'A film where the villain is a woman,' or some other random engagement bait.
These are the same accounts that became popular because of their movie recommendations and reviews. Now, instead of discussing films and TV shows, they're obsessed with farming reactions for X payouts.
It's gotten so repetitive that it's genuinely started testing my patience.
From small creators to the biggest movie accounts, everyone seems more interested in engagement farming than actual conversations about cinema.
I'm not pretending I'm innocent. I make one engagement post a day too. But there's a huge difference between one post and flooding the timeline with 50 to 100 low effort questions every single day.
And when one movie becomes a hit, these same accounts keep milking it for months, not because they have anything new to say, but because they know it'll generate reactions.
Movie Community and their followers deserves better than becoming an endless cycle of engagement bait. It should be about discovering, discussing and celebrating movies, not chasing payouts.
Gringo (2018): Didn't expect much, but this one surprised me.
It's a fun, fast paced ride with plenty of entertaining moments. The entire cast delivers but the lead carries the film with a charming performance that makes you root for him till the end.
Not every movie needs to be deep. Sometimes being entertaining is enough and Gringo does that well.

Baramulla (2025): Amazing. I absolutely loved it.
Kudos to the writers for blending two horror stories, one based on reality and the other fictional, into a single, gripping narrative.
The locations are stunning, the performances are solid and the editing, visuals and background score keep you hooked.
My only issue was Ridwaan's family subplot. The communication and interactions between the family members could have been written much better. That was the weakest part of an otherwise brilliant film.
Overall, a smart and refreshing watch.

One of the most underrated gems out there.
Outstanding performances, brilliant writing, stunning cinematography and solid direction. Not a single boring moment.
Boomers remember Gabbar. Millennials remember Bukka Reddy.
Abhimanyu Singh and Vivek Oberoi deserved better than what they got.
RGV Sir, thank you for your CINEMA.
Gran Torino (2008): Clint Eastwood and masterpieces have become synonymous for a reason.
This movie makes you laugh while breaking your heart at the same time. It has drama, action and comedy and it excels in every department.
It's still hard to believe Clint wasn't even nominated for an Oscar for this performance. That alone makes me question the credibility of the awards.
Highly recommended.
