Are The Methods Used By Science The Only Ways Of Knowing? A civil conversation between two brilliant writers, each an advocate of one of CP Snow's Two Cultures, each with respect for the other's--but airing their differences forcefully. https://t.co/wfcYCKfF8q
Some of the most important conversations today are happening on @LetterWiki. Please consider pledging. You will only be charged if this essential debate goes forward.
No society improves by enabling #CancelCulture to avert thoughtful dialogue. In this exchange @HPluckrose & @Docstockk leap headlong into the fire: https://t.co/iE3wLNJJzH
@MForstater We'd be honoured to host you, @MForstater & @ayeshahazarika - this is an important topic entirely worth of considered argument and good-faith debate.
Twitter discussions are noisy & not good for anyone's mental health.
I would love to talk with you & explore yr starting points for thinking about a solution that is humane, modern and common sense.
We could take it off Twitter to somewhere calmer

Is the Culture War Lost? Don’t miss this exchange between @SarahTheHaider and @Ayaan (I agree with Sarah but hope Ayaan is right.) https://t.co/evtRsMBmeN
I said what I had to say about Critical Race Theory fairly early on in the present public dust up, and in conversation with @AndreaLynnLewis - available here https://t.co/WFwhwmoYhd. Since then I have largely not involved myself, and tbh I don't regret it.
In 6 days Robin Diangelo will forfeit $22,712 to educate underprivileged children of colour by ignoring a debate request from a woman of colour. We've made several attempts to reach her for comment to no avail. If you have a way to get this to her please do 1/2 @Ayaan@megynkelly
This is a really beautiful exchange. I find myself in more agreement with @SarahTheHaider, who is very very perceptive about the situation (especially in her first letter). https://t.co/q136Udd6VW
Everyone, @LetterWiki has become of my favourite things to read. I was sceptical of the wisdom of the move from a mass letter-writing platform (a kind of epistolary social media) to a publisher-style model (a compendium of letter exchanges between well known people). I was wrong.
This is why you are a civil rights champion @Ayaan and very probably why @RobinDiAngelo will likely ignore or decline the request, as genuine as it is, and as constructive such a conversation would be for improving race relations. But hope springs eternal so let’s hope I’m wrong.
