We’re delighted to have been able to help RPD Ronnie from @DevonPoliceDogs @DC_Police with a grant towards recent veterinary treatment after he developed lameness last month.

Born in Germany in 2015, Ronnie was the only dog from his litter to successfully complete the @DC_PoliceDogs Puppy programme before going on to serve alongside handler PC Mark Pomery.

During his distinguished career, Ronnie achieved Advanced GP and Firearms Support Dog status, attended Regional Police Dog Trials, qualifying for the @PoliceDogTrials, and was involved in an incredible 94 arrests and missing person finds.

Retiring in 2023, Ronnie now enjoys life on the North Cornwall coast with his handler’s family, two spaniel companions, and his successor, PD Rita.

Thank you for your service, Ronnie. It is a privilege to support you in retirement.
