@negogoy@gameunlocked26 It's more Take-Two than Rockstar honestly. They can't get over Hot Coffee and they're afraid mods will take away chances to rob players blind with micro transactions in their garbage online mode.
@Wurst3Bernd@gameunlocked26 That and Take-Two hate PC gamers. They've hated modders since the Hot Coffee incident. They also are afraid that mods will cause players to not buy their shitty micro transactions in their shitty online mode.
@JohnSmithzxxq@gameunlocked26 They're not but Take-Two is salty about the Hot Coffee incident still. That's why they hate modders so much. That and they have a fear of modders taking away precious micro transaction bucks from them by offering something better than their trash online service.
@Thejose1150@adasfile It's your own fault. You gave me exactly what I wanted bro. All of you did. =) I annoyed all of you, aggravated you, and got you talking to me. Nobody did that but you. >:) But alas, you bore me.
@HappyNaClO1@Tico_Leak@TheMidnightRun0 We talking about the TV versions of the movie or the DVD version? Because interestingly, the DVD version of the movie dubs by I think Pioneer distributed them at the time have different VA's. And they're also Ocean group actors iirc...just different ones for some reason.
@HappyNaClO1@Tico_Leak@TheMidnightRun0 As far as I know, he's also not a condescending prick like Sean. You know he was almost the voice of Goku Black in Super but allegedly Sean threw a fit and wanted to voice Black?
@Tsukento@realjuicyplayer@TheMidnightRun0 Yep. That's because the original episodes, despite having rights held by funimation, were also distributed by Saban, both these composers also did Mighty Morphin Power Rangers music and music for other Saban productions. This is also why ocean group dubbed the original run.
@realjuicyplayer@TheMidnightRun0 I mean sometimes I wonder what either one would have composed had they been there for the other's respective tenure...Personally, I think both composers did bangers.
@TheMidnightRun0 More specifically, the first credits theme before they moved over to the Funimation voice cast. Rock the Dragon is iconic but so was Faulconer Productions' opening theme. But Rock the Dragon is probably moreso since it's older.
@diegomaryo What's funny is I was reading a Samurai Troopers encyclopedia and Saint Cloth is what helped launch the series. Takara wanted a toyline to compete with Bandai's Saint Cloth line. That's how we got the Yoroiden Samurai Troopers Super Ballistics toyline!
@toyprison@thleleu59 We never really got a proper English adaptation. Closest we got was a heavily censored dub by the infamous now defunct 4kids which altered and removed scenes. Oh and the series became called "Knights of the Zodiac". Oddly, they kept the blood but recolored it black...
@DamienTempest We've got a similar situation going on in the Samurai Troopers fanbase. Although the new series makes it obvious, some argue the 35 year gap between both series in canon, could still slightly make the OVAs canon but the anime itself makes it obvious they aren't without saying it
@ArcadianStill@SmashJT They streamline and remove stuff and have been for a very long time. All to cater to the casual gamer crowd. The lowest common denominator...or as well call them now, "gun and ball gamers"
