Should you invest your 4hrs into watching Prakhar Gupta’s latest podcast with a ter*orist…

Negatives:
1. Too much detail initially, making the podcast long unnecessarily

Like at around 16:40…

The guest is talking about how much he loves cigarettes which has no connection to the main conversation.

Parts like this could have been trimmed

2. Faces does well on thumbnail, so masking the guest’s face out, in only intro and thumbnail doesn’t make sense

3. For a 4hr commitment, intro of the video had to be more epic and long

Positives:
1. Everything said by the guest seems true since it is full of details.

2. Personally like the details on how these people are brainwashed.

3. Great questions by Prakher to keep the guest on track

4. Few jokes by Prakher which seemed not forced, released tension in between. Like, its funny how this ter*orist started hos journey only to impress girls.

5. Second half of the podcast explores real life terror incidents which is more interesting.

Latent feeling different now ? Heres why..

1. Too much polished content probably caz of Netflix approved 4K camera

2. Samay bhai not being himself infront of Alia or maybe its because he is doing this after a long time.

3. Too much Sponsors, maybe just 1 would feel less commercialised.

4. And of course no dark jokes or roast, only feel good content.

People hating on the first episode of latent just like Ashish’s Ekaki.

Wait for at least few more episodes before calling the entire show mid.

Samay changed his plans regarding Latent season 2, heres how…

- In his last standup special Still Alive, which I attended offline, he said “I don’t want a censored softy version of latent to release on YouTube”.

- Instead he said “I want to tour and do live latent shows in every city and even globally, where all the smartphones from the audience will be taken to prevent them from leaking.”

- He promised that season 2 would be even crazier and fully unfiltered.

- But now maybe he changed his mind since such live shows won’t generate such viewership as compared to releasing it on YouTube.

What if Alia was not the first guest of Latent season 2…

Since latent is a non scripted show, Samay would probably shelf this episode like he did with so many on season 1 which were average.

But since Alia and her film Alpha was involved, he couldn’t. Getting her date for another shoot was not possible probably so he had to release it.

Hopefully we will get better episodes in future for sure.

Some loved it, some found it average but everyone watched it.

Hoping for a better episode with someone appropriate from Bollywood as a guest.

Last month’s top most watched YouTube content is MrBeast doing some giveaway.

No story, no creativity just bribing views to subscribe.

There was a time when giveaways were associated with low effort tactics to gain attention but now it’s being done with glory by world’s number 1 creator.

Love his long vids tho.

This “Donald Trump” guy is not a random participant…

His name is Avinash Agarwal, who has previously worked with Kapil Sharma, Nishant Tanwar and many more.

Specifically he did this same Donald Trump impersonation multiple times on stage, and thats why he was soo good with the it.

Samay bhai thought of not risking the ending of the first episode with some random participant like it used to be.

Also there were multiple sponsor call outs at the ending, so of course the score had to match to handover the sponsor gift hampers.

Very entertaining guy anyways, saved the first episode of Latent.

We just completed 100k downloads within first 2 months of launching India’s first video only dating app.

Lot of bugs and issues we faced initially,
starting from insane google cloud bill to spam accounts, but we worked hard and solved every single issue one by one.
