One of my goals when I accepted the Technology position in my school this year was to get at least 1 student to the @GASTC state technology fair. I got 8 students and had 9 teams place.
I am beyond proud of these Eagles!

My third graders loved using their computational thinking to solve problems, work together, and try to escape the mansion with code in @PlayCraftLearn #HourOfCode #EscapeEstate this week!

Students drew simple pictures and created an algorithm on how to draw it. Then swapped with other teams to see if following their algorithm produced the same results! #unpluggedcoding

Last week we celebrated digital citizenship week and brought learning to life! My Kindergarten Ss had to code around "bad websites" and find "good websites" using #Botley robots after we learned about our online neighborhood.
