@anabelle_dawn Ben doesnt stop the invasion of Krayt, if she had succeeded, the invasion of krayt would have still happened by hux, only its ben and rey in the falcon. Luke would still have died trying to stop the walkers. I dont hate the movies, i struggle to understand them.
@anabelle_dawn The view i see this. Rey is like a video game character, she follows the quest markers, does the tasks, cutscene, an such. The throne room scene with snoke, him torturing rey can be treated as a cut scene. Because the next he dies, they fight the budget guards. Failing to change-
@anabelle_dawn Her accidentally using lightning and thinking she killed chewy, okay that one ill give it to her. Accidentally killing a friend. If they hadnt shown the second ship they could have played on that trauma for a while until it was revealed later he was alive
@anabelle_dawn Not really though, torture was never off the table. No trauma no stakes. She didnt get PTSD or anything. If it brought her fear of using the force and she had to over come that fear for her friends, okay thats something. But she went through it like a game character
@balancedpadawan If Ben had communicated to leia inTLJ,asking for her to surrender, like one last conversation before the bridge explosion that would have been something other than him being conflicted in his fighter.Leia making that one last attemptto reach out to him.idk its what couldhave been
@balancedpadawan would love to have known what the idea behind the saber vision was all about, but thats another mystery box that went unsolved unfortunately. See the interrogation thing i get but the whole "She downloaded from his mind" its something that needs to be shown not heard about later
@balancedpadawan Kylo and Rey was always going to be a thing, Villain/hero dynamic. Its the writing however that keeps me from liking the two. I can understand what they were going for, i just would like it to have been better developed. No offense or anything
@retneysholocron But failing to redeem didnt cost her anything, she didnt lose or gain anything. Its like oh he said no...okay bye. The invasion of Krayt would still have happened if not by kylo then by Hux
@retneysholocron If rey had gotten out of her restraints and had been caught by storm troopers as she was about to escape only to be saved by han and finn, showing that she did need help, that honestly would have been good in my opinion, to show she cant do everything alone.
@retneysholocron right. His fear for his friends clouded his judgement and so he went to go save them not knowing that lando was going to save them in the end. Luke ended up losing an arm as a consequence. Im not asking Rey to lose an arm or anything.
@retneysholocron well i mean more like her actions of getting one of her friends captured, or losing someone. Han was going to die regardless but it wasnt by her own actions. I meant something similar to Luke recklessly going to save his friends on Bespin from vader even though they would be al-
@DrawsSloths Anakin had been losing at podracing until Qui gon showed up. They state he had lost several before but didnt go into details. As for the Droid ship, he was mostly on autopilot and even then he had R2 to help him out and when he did have control he was goofing off.
@anabelle_dawn You ask why people like Padme and Leia but not Rey right? Im curious why should people like Rey? I Can give you an answer on to why i believe people like Padme and Leia. Not here to start a fight or anything just here for conversation.
@JackPosobiec If this had happened back when twilight was popular i would have been more supportive of this as both Edward and Jacob suck... they are not good male leads. The actors are good just the characters are bad
