@deadhulk7 Finally, young earth creation is not a traditional Christian view. It was a fringe idea, popularized in the last century. The broad Christian consensus is that Genesis 1 does not describe an earth 6,000 years old.
@deadhulk7 People often quote Peter (a day is as a thousand years, a thousand years as a day), but he was responding to a specific concern, which was how long would it be until Jesus returns? God operates on His timeline, not ours.
@owenthcarey Depends on how I use it. Getting into 3D modeling and printing lately, it's been immensely helpful in learning how to model.
But sometimes with coding I just need a thing and don't really care how it's done.
@JesusSaves1500 If you and I disagree on the interpretation of scripture, who has the authority to determine who is correct? Or maybe that we're both wrong?
At some point you have to fall back to the church.
@JesusSaves1500 1 Timothy 3:15
"if I am delayed, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth. "
Maybe ask this another way, where does the Bible give you or I the authority to interpret scripture?
@DisrespectedThe This is unfortunate for sure, but the Catholic Biblical Association is not at all affiliated with the Vatican. The Vatican would not allow this.
@CaitlinPacific I throw them, my kids laugh and smile in a way they don't for anything else, and ask me to do it again. It's best at a pool when you can really launch them high without having to worry about catching them. They have the best time, and I love hearing the laugh and seeing the smile
Any API devs out there, would appreciate some feedback here. Cofounding a new API-as-a-Service 'starter pack'. This would provide the frontend and middleware for your API. There's a waitlist if interested. Let me know your thoughts.

The Fed has two conflicting priorities -- banks and inflation. The last policy decision was the middle path, which didn't really address either problem. Was that the right call?

How do you plan for success? Ok, that's a trick question. Strategic Planning is an oxymoron, simply because planning and strategy aren't remotely the same thing.

If you're looking for an SVB Primer from someone who probably isn't qualified to explain it, then you've found what you're looking for! Here's an ELI5 (maybe more like 15) of what's gone down so far.
