It's getting harder to grow from just an idea.

Or just be a modest shop that wants to survive + can't rely on footfall anymore.

Big shakeup needs to happen --> Let's make it happen.

/opportunity for all:

We often say that internet should've made it easier to connect shops + people.

It went wrong somewhere.

We're aware enough now to consciously look at our purchases - where/who we're buying from.

/strong economies:

Distribution of buying creates healthy economies with local businesses.

Not all centralised to warehouses.

/supporting locals:

Would be cool if we could use a most-local approach for what we're buying.

Still opportunity to price hunt, that's fair.

But make it easy as possible to support a local brand/supplier.

A lot of startups, brands, stores need that early customer base.

/fair distribution:

Lots of tactics come from having more capital to start. Hoping the new age will change this.

Shouldn't have to sell cheap to get stocked in certain places, or get higher in a search.

Greater connectivity between stores + people.

/authentic products:

Nice to get stuff knowing it's not made on the cheap in mass.

Boosts creatives again.

Works especially well when buying products from different areas. Love the idea of globally-local...real stores, real people.

/entrepreneurs:

Have ambition, drive + all that awesome stuff.

Hardest part for an entrepreneur/startup is finding the initial customer base.

Again, tough to be jack of all trades, some strong in certain areas.

Can be made easier with local search/exposure.

/creative people:

Creative people build the future.

They think different.

They need to be able to do what they do + get easier, wider exposure without all the other noisy stuff.

Creative era > Need to know everything-era.
