Proud that Salford still pushes its students and does its best instil enthusiasm and passion for chemistry instead of only highlighting weaknesses, belittling knowledge and subjecting them to hyper criticism... https://t.co/xvtHX0J5rI
@MissJLomax Agree. All good these days but no doubt I was probably a difficult pupil there after for a few teachers unfortunately. I was hoping to find them and tell them my experiences and feelings as a 10 year old. A 280 character tweet would have been more than ample 😂
@MissJLomax 🤣
Apologies! Been passively keepin an eye out for a miss Lomax that taught me in primary. I wouldn't go as far to say she was a bully, but I felt I was constantly talked over, belittled by her, isolated in class & left to struggle. Took me years to deal with
Been saying this since for a while. No wonder so many projects stall or take years to develop. I think grants should start asking basic PM questions - it would improve the quality of projects submitted and result in less wasted funding (ideally)
Academics would double our productivity if we learnt some basic project management skills that are bog standard in the industry. We have this myth that scholarly success is all about brilliance and creativity, but in fact 90% of it is getting sh*t done, same as any other job.
@Miss_Snuffy You burned yourself and double down? You are not the victim here. Just apologise, say you spoke out of turn on the spot, move on and focus on equality in STEM.
