Tetsuya Nomura says the particularly memorable game that he has ever worked on is Kingdom Hearts!
"Kingdom Hearts has become my life's work, so I can't leave it out. I never imagined it would become such a long journey.
At the beginning of the project, I made numerous trips to Disney headquarters for meetings, and many of the things we discussed back then have come to fruition over time. It truly has become a land of dreams and magic.
There are still things I want to accomplish, and we are trying something new in the 4th installment, so please look forward to it."
Tetsuya Nomura says one of his most memorable events of the last 40 years was the reveal of Final Fantasy VII Remake at E3 2015!
"I vividly remember the reaction in the venue the moment Final Fantasy VII Remake was announced at E3 on June 15, 2015.
I think that feeling and those heart palpitations I had then were probably a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was the first time I’d ever experienced my body tremble uncontrollably because of such an overwhelming response.
At the time I told Takahiro Sakurai, who voiced Cloud, "it will probably be a long journey of more than 10 years", but that journey is finally coming to an end, and I feel a deep sense of emotion about it."
Naoki Hamaguchi says there is a scene in FF7 Revelation that always makes him cry:
"There's this scene that's quite essential to the story of Final Fantasy VII where Cloud goes into a moment of introspection and discovers his identity, and how it fits with Zack and Aerith. I think the way we portrayed that in Revelation turned out very well, and we're eager for fans to see it,"
"I've finished Revelation about 40 times, and every time that introspective scene with Cloud made me cry."
