@RealHickory So anyone who goes against Trump is a traitor in your eyes? Y'all have it twisted. It's the people who go against the Constitution that are traitors. Take a good hard look at Trump.. he's the real traitorous scum.
Your "One Big Beautiful Bill" wasn't so beautiful after all. Even Republicans don't like it. It literally just failed to advance in the GOP-controlled House Budget Committee.
Your approval ratings are plummeting and you are even losing key republicans in the House.
Cope. Cry Harder
So MAGA freaks out when the former FBI director posts something that says “86 47.”
But when Trump posts a video that includes an image of Biden being tied up and kidnapped, that’s acceptable?
The hypocrisy is astounding.
@Anna1555269@ILA_NewsX@elonmusk You do realize it's cheaper to give them Medicaid rather than pay the cost of all the emergency room visits when things go from a small problem to an emergency?
Oh, bless your tiny little MAGA hearts…
You think the stock market tanking only messes with the Wall Street whales?
When the market takes a nosedive, it’s not just the yacht-owning, caviar-scarfing stock owners who feel the pinch.
It’s a domino effect of economic misery.
Companies lose value, so they start pinching pennies….fewer jobs, crappier wages, and say “bye-bye” to raises and bonuses if you’re lucky enough to not get laid off.
Even if you don’t own a single share, the ripple hits your wallet, your job, and your dreams of affording anything beyond ramen noodles.
Your local coffee shop?
Suddenly they’re charging $8 for a latte because “supply chain costs.”
Retail workers?
Hours get slashed because people stop impulse-buying $50 candles when their portfolios bleed.
Small business owners?
Good luck getting a loan when banks clutch their pearls and hoard cash like it’s the last slice of pizza.
Renters?
Landlords jack up prices to offset their own losses, so you’re shelling out more for that charming mold-infested studio. Say hello mom’s basement…if she’s lucky enough to not get foreclosed on.
Healthcare?
Companies cut benefits to “streamline costs,” so your co-pay for that sinus infection now rivals a car payment.
And let’s not forget inflation…
Grocery bills skyrocket, turning your weekly shop into a choice between eggs or toilet paper.
Pension funds and 401(k)s that regular folks rely on?
Poof! They’re shrinking faster than a cheap MAGA shirt in the dryer.
Even your cousin’s Etsy side-hustle tanks because no one’s buying crocheted coasters in a recession.
Welcome to the trickle-down dumpster fire, MAGA.
And you only have one man to blame: Donald Trump.
So remember when I told you:
-Trump was an idiot
-His tariffs weren’t “just a negotiating tactic”
-he didn’t understand tariffs
-He’d be bad for your bags (including crypto)
-his instability would be bad for markets
And you said I was just a “dumb shitlib”
How we doin’ now? 🙄
Donald Trump and his transition team are already breaking the law.
I would know because I wrote the law.
Incoming presidents are required to prevent conflicts of interest and sign an ethics agreement.
This is what illegal corruption looks like. https://t.co/JJjJ59DgB5
So much for the spirit of Unity, right Trump? Your statement here about judges and Senate leadership is, to put it plainly, misguided and self-serving and here's why:
First, judicial appointments aren’t up to him or any one Senator to control like a personal favor. Under the Constitution, judges are appointed by the President and must be confirmed by the Senate. It’s not a matter of just “recess appointments” or bending rules. And this isn’t a new process; the rules for how judges get their seats have been established for centuries.
The kicker? Trump’s plea here flies in the face of his own actions. Remember, in 2020 he rushed to confirm a Supreme Court justice, Amy Coney Barrett, just weeks before an election. And in 2016, his Republican allies blocked Obama’s nominee Merrick Garland for nearly a year, claiming it was too close to the election. Yet here we are, with Trump demanding that Democrats not confirm judges now, just because it doesn't suit him. Hypocrisy at its finest.
He also pushes a misguided notion that Senate leadership should cater to his demands for recess appointments. But the Supreme Court clarified in NLRB v. Noel Canning that recess appointments are only permissible during a formal Senate recess, which the Senate often avoids by holding pro forma sessions. So Trump’s vision of “filling positions immediately” just doesn’t fly legally.
The “two years or more” claim? That’s just playing the drama card. Confirmations don’t typically take that long, and if they did, well, Republicans had their hands on the gavel, fast-tracking Trump’s nominees to record numbers, many during his lame-duck period. So let’s not act like Democrats are somehow pulling a first-time trick here.
What this boils down to is this has nothing to do with unity, Trump’s attempt to stack the deck by bending rules and casting his opponents as villains when they’re just following the same rules he and his allies have used to their advantage.
@JimNasiun@XVanFleet@AndrewYang China isn't really communist. Is there a government in China? Is there money? Does everyone share wealth equally? Yes, yes, no. By definition, China is NOT communist. They are definitely capitalist. So, sure, tell me how capitalism hurt you. It hurts all of us.
@SlackJawCleetus @XVanFleet@AndrewYang Notice that in communism, there's no middle class or elite. It is classless. Notice that there is no currency (NO MONEY), and there is NO GOVERNMENT. The WORKING CLASS owns everything and shares wealth equally (WEALTH, not MONEY).
@SlackJawCleetus @XVanFleet@AndrewYang Communism: a political & economic system that seeks to create a classless society in which the major means of production are owned & controlled by the public. There is NO GOVT or private property or currency, & the wealth is divided among citizens equally or according to need.
