🇩🇪 Florian Wirtz created the most chances (3) and won the most tackles (3) while he was on the pitch.
No one coveted more distances (9.2km) than him until he was subbed off.
Some of you lie way too much about Wirtz. This is one of the most complete 10’s in the world. Excellent presser, creates great chances, good attacking actions. Unlucky to not have a couple assists and a goal today. Truly, we are so blessed to have him.
“Wirtz was terrible, what game did you watch?”
This one, I watched this one.
Hardest worker on the pitch, always on the ball and a major threat to break the lines.
Exactly what Iraola requires of his players.
Stand-out player in our new system.
No Liverpool player made more final third passes (17), committed more fouls (5), had more touches in the opposition box (4) or completed more take-ons (3) in the first half than Florian Wirtz. 👏
🚨💣 OFFICIAL: Liverpool have decided to keep Cody Gakpo at the club as they can’t find a replacement.
£85m bid from Manchester City rejected as Gakpo has accepted to stay, ready to continue at #LFC.
Manchester City now focused on Ndiaye and Enzo Fernández.
Genuinely couldn’t be happier if we keep Gakkers - always been an advocate throughout last season when others wrote him off and he’ll offer something completely different to our other wingers and back up Isak for now in an emergency
"Jacquet really struggled with physicality, didn't win a header all game"
He won 75% of his aerial duels and 100% of his ground duels.
So are you just actually a retard or just moonlighting as one?
Reading the rumours of Monaco looking at Sarr, Barcola almost there & us actively bidding for another RW….
We may get:
- Barcola
- Cámara
- Sarr/ Minteh / Mbaye or another RW
which is exactly the transfers I think we need, especially if the RW can double up to support Isak
The Liverpool analysis is being overcomplicated now. What we witnessed against Newcastle was the consequence of pairing a runner and a carrier in a double pivot following a shortened pre-season under a new manager. It was entirely predictable. There will be teething issues.

It was a poor performance. Yes.
But some of you need to get a fucking grip.
Iraola wasn’t going to magically transform the damage over one pre season where half the team didn’t get a full one.
It will take a couple months.
But you can see it, I can see it anyway
Stop looking at every single negative and take the positives of what we are trying to do.
The biggest issue is that whole in midfield on the counter, that is the ONLY part that worries me.
The rest I believe will come.
I might be a little bias
But my fav team name this year for FPL is
‘Nyoni way is up’
And yes it’s the one I have
And yes I haven’t seen anyone else using it so I’m claiming that 😂😂😂
